Creative Writing for Kids
The Wonder Society
Keep the Wonder Alive
The Wonder Society is a gathering of young writers delighting in and deepening their craft. Through the instruction of Adrienne Garrison, writers will hone their craft and gain confidence and camaraderie in a workshop environment.
Join with other writers aged 10-15 and explore Personal Narrative Writing or Fiction Short Story through one of our 6-week workshops. Taught in the instructors own homes, these workshops will guide writers through the process of generating ideas, drafting, editing, revision, and celebrating published work.
Once Upon A Villain: Reimagining Fairy Tales
Every villain has a story. In this 6-week, in-person workshop, teen writers will reimagine classic fairy tales from the perspective of the antagonist, exploring motivation, backstory, and moral complexity. By the end, each student will complete an original retelling.
Starting Tuesday, January 27th
